He makes something out of nothing. He takes the smallest things, the invisible things and illuminates them. He takes our stories, stories we fear aren’t worth telling, and reveals them for what they really are: entrance points for His grace.
If there’s pain, healing is close by.
Looking is the thing. There is treasure in the darkest of memories. He makes something out of nothing.

Most of the time, I don’t know where I’m going. That’s not so bad. I walk anyway, and I’m thankful that I’m getting to know the One I’m walking with a little better each day.
Into the mist…the cool air cleanses away the noise of the familiar.

Lift the veil of vanity
Open up my eyes

To gaze into Your violet sky
to know Your fragrance- the breath of life
to never want to fight for peace
to let You decide
and love my enemies
But I can’t do this by myself
so stay…
stay with me
and lift the veil
so I can see
I’m happy now that I was made a dreamer. This wasn’t always so ;)
Pictures of breathing in the sky- displacing the smog inside with His perfume, filled my head while I let it all out.
I know now that it wasn’t ‘just a dream’- it was a transaction.
God is creative; the Great Artist, and He knows how to get passed
our reason to bring us into mystery.
He gives us songs to sing and dreams to enter and all the while we are being healed… go figure :)

On going deeper with God and how it happens for me.
It comes through the simple truths of Christ’s’ love. The message of the cross: “I love you, and want to be with you, so enter here” That has to be the hardest truth to accept without thinking too hard:) But when I get still, a door that leads to the depths of God, opens up. Isn’t it funny, when I think of depth, I always see water. You can hear and sense things in water that you can’t hear and sense anywhere else.

It just kills the ego doesn’t it? This picture reminds me of me–when I’ve gone and tried to prove something. A friend of mine once said
“I’ve discovered that EGO stands for ‘Easing- God-Out’ ” We work in our own strength because we think we can… I’m glad He extends grace to us– We sure need it on days:)
